A child that lives with encouragement, Learns confidence

A child that lives with praise, Learns to Appreciate

A child that lives with sharing, Learns to be considerate

A child that lives with patience, Learns to be tolerant

A child that lives in Happiness will find LOVE AND BEAUTY..

Creating a Masterpiece-

You are what you are because of the time and effort you have invested in yourself. This theory goes for everything around us… You want to create a magnificent piece of art… you get colors ,canvas and decide what you want to make out of it …it takes strategizing…orienting your mind towards the outcome, and goes without saying… sleepless nights and dedication to create a Masterpiece.

So, bringing up a child is a bigger agenda. A painting will not talk back to you but a child does. You are the biggest influencer for your child. Your ideology forms the foundation for your child’s development, later the peers, society will come into picture but your child will be able to see these external forces in a more positive way if the foundation is set right.

Let’s take the example of a tree…you sow a seed, water it, protect it and of course nature will test it with its thunderstorms and rains …but the net result is a great tree with stronger roots for it to stand strong and tall. This is no different from parenting.

We all have heard of the saying-‘Show me your friends I will tell you who you are’. We all agree that the time we spend with people forms a great influence on our thinking and personality. So if you have appointed an illiterate rude and loud caretaker who is shouting all the time, your child is sure to pick up those traits. Note that you always treat the world the way you have been treated. So don’t be surprised if your child is unruly and shouting around.

A yogi once said ‘you can’t teach a kid how to be happy’ in turn we adults have to learn from them the art of being happy by themselves. A child is born Free, Happy, Contented.. High in spirt, can amuse himself and make anything his toy, so as parents and well-wishers, it is our primary responsibility to safeguard these traits and show them a positive path and in turn, learn from them the way to happiness.

I have met parents complaining of their kids misbehaving and not listening to them, think of it if your kids don’t listen to you then Who will they listen to?

So, once you are a parent, be open for introspection… as Newton’s Third Law says –‘that every action has an equal and opposite reaction’… Your child’s reactions are the result of your actions.

A child that lives with ridicule, learns to be timid

A child that lives with criticism, Learns condemn

A Child that lives in distrust, Learns to be deceitful

A child that lives in antagonism, Learns to be hostile

A child that lives with Fear Learns to be apprehensive.
