Why Feeding Bottles?
glass bottles are sturdy, and they don’t contain any chemicals that could potentially get into the baby’s formula and there is no need to worry about chemicals leeching into your baby’s milk. Easier to clean: Glass bottles are much easier to clean than plastic because they are less likely to develop scratches and hold on to residue and odors.
How to clean glass bottles?
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a baby bottle be washed after every feeding with hot water and soap, then allowed to dry thoroughly. While your mother and grandmother may have used boiling water to sterilize baby bottles, doctors say there is no longer a need to do this. Don’t sterilize glass baby bottles and nipples before every use. That practice was only necessary in the past when local water supplies were not as reliably clean as they are now.
