Watch out for these red flags and talk to your doctor to be reassured that your child is developing in their own unique way
- Shows no interest in stimulus such as books or sharing interest and enjoyment
- Doesn't point, wave goodbye, or use other gestures to communicate
- Can't identify simple pictures
- Doesn't respond to his or her own name, or to the sound of a familiar voice
- Doesn't play with others .
- Doesn't know what to do with common things, like a brush, fork, or spoon
